Thanks for documenting this horrible accident and making this tragic story available on-line. I'm a close friend of Jamie Partridge's mother and only learned of it from a hurried phone message while she was in the hospital at the young people's sides (or as close as she could get). Her brief description was vivid--but your photos filled in the few gaps our later less hurried conversation didn't complete. I fear everyone involved has a lot of healing ahead of them, physical and otherwise.

All of the victims were attended to at the same time with 5 medic units and 1 bls unit. Some of the victims in the expedition had to be cut out of the vehicle with multiple obstructions so it took a little more time. All patients were taken to the hospital as soon as they were removed from the wreck.

thanks so much to the men and women that responded to the fire at concord court. i am a tenent in this building. i am totally impressed by the response time and the professionalism shown by our fire and police departments.
after this took place, i had some time to look back on what really could happen in a multi-dweling housing unit. i have come to realize that we only have 1 escape route here, and that is out our front doors. god forbid the fire was in the front of the building. i am highly concerned that this entire complex doesn't meet fire code standards, from fire escapes, smoke detectors, and posted fire lanes. since july 5th, this has caused extreme concern for my family and neighbors. but i have complete faith in the green ridge fire company to uphold the standards that ensures our safety. once again, i would like to thank everyone involed, you're quik on your feet guy's. GREAT JOB!!!

Which car was cleared of passengers first? It does not look like the driver of the car that flipped over the median and the passenger behind him in the same car were removed in this shot.

why is the print so bluish? Perhaps the flash was a little too heavy for the conditions---considered bouncing the light? Or maybe next natural lighting? Just a suggestion. It's still a good picture.
---------------
The photo was taken with a Canon Rebel 300D (the original Canon Rebel).
The Rebel's white balance was horrible (even with firmware hacks).
I sold it on eBay right after this wedding and purchased a Canon 10D and was completely satisfied with that camera.
I have since upgraded to the Canon 20D and even happier! ;-)

Hey Rob,

Its really sad when they make you leave the scene and the police allow action news to come into the scene dont you think thats kind of wrong

---------------
I don't think Action News would put up with gold shield power tripping.
